Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma held a meeting today in his residence office with the Culture and Archaeology Department and dignitaries and priests from Kabirdham district regarding the renovation of Bhoramdev temple. Various proposals for increasing facilities for devotees and development of the temple complex were discussed in the meeting. In the meeting, Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Vijay Sharma said that the problem of water leakage during rainy days should be resolved immediately. He directed the officials of the Culture Department to make video documentation related to the history of the temple so that devotees can become familiar with the history of the temple. He also gave instructions to get 3D design and lidar survey done. Along with this, instructions were given to complete the ongoing construction work and treatment before Bhoramdev Mahotsav. Director of Culture and Archaeology Department Mr. Vivek Acharya, Assistant Engineer Mr. Chetan Manhare, Deputy Engineer Mr. Dilip Sahu, Mr. Aditya Shrivas, Ajay Chandravanshi, Ashish Pathak, Amit Verma, Durgesh Dubey and Khoru Singh of Kabirdham area were present in the meeting.

In the meeting, various proposals for increasing facilities for devotees and development of the temple premises were discussed. Construction of shed for devotees, shifting of watchman quarters from near the temple to some other place and construction of VIP room behind the temple were discussed. Apart from this, instructions were given to remove the wall between the back of the temple and the VIP room and install grill and gate, and maintain the traditional form of Bhairav ​​Temple, Chamunda Mata Temple and Hanuman Temple etc. Apart from this, he also instructed the officials to maintain the trees through the forest department if required.

Instructions were given to send a proposal under the Prasad Yojana under the Tourism Department for the beautification of the outer part of the temple. Under this, a proposal will be sent for road widening, parking arrangements outside the main gate, operation of e-rickshaws, beautification of the pond, and making murals related to Shiva stories around the boundary wall.

In the meeting, discussions were held for construction of paved road from Bhoramdev temple to Chhedki Mahal-Madwa Mahal, installation of solar lights and CCTV cameras in the temple premises, as well as improving the drainage system of the temple premises and replacing flooring with sand stone. Since this area comes under the Archaeological Department, all works will be done with the permission of the Archaeological Department.
