Amidst the Kolkata rape murder case, news of rape of two girls has come to light from Badlapur (Maharashtra). According to reports, the 23-year-old accused raped two girls aged four and six years in the school bathroom on 13 August. Ever since the information about this incident has come to light, the crowd is angry. Bollywood actor Ritesh Deshmukh is also furious.
What did Ritesh say?
Ritesh shared a post on social media and wrote, “As a father I am extremely saddened, angry and hurt by this incident!! Two 4-year-old girls were raped by a school sweeper. School is supposed to be a safe place for children. People think that their child is as safe in school as he is in his home. This monster should be given the harshest punishment. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in his time gave the culprits the punishment they deserved – Chaurang – we should bring this law back. #BadlapurCrime”
This is how the parents found out
According to the BBC report, when both the girls refused to go to school on August 16, their parents became suspicious. One of the two told her parents about the incident on August 16. The parents took the girl to the hospital for examination and there the injury in the girl’s private part was confirmed. The parents lodged a complaint with the police and then the first arrest was made on August 17. The school administration has suspended the principal, class teacher and a female employee in this case.
