A month before the elections, Dushyant Chautala gets a shock, four MLAs left the party in 24 hours; huge upheaval in JJP

A month before the Haryana assembly elections, Dushyant Chautala’s Jannayak Janata Party (JJP) has suffered a major setback. Four out of 10 MLAs of the party – Ishwar Singh, Ramkaran Kala, Devendra Babli, and Anup Dhanak have resigned from the party. Of these, Anup Dhanak had already left the party, while Ishwar Singh, Ramkaran Kala and Devendra Babli have resigned from the primary membership and all responsibilities of the party today. These MLAs can now join the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Congress. Let us tell you that in Haryana, BJP and Congress managed to win five seats each in this Lok Sabha election.

This situation has become difficult for the Dushyant Chautala-led JJP, as the party’s position has weakened in the assembly. JJP had already demanded the disqualification of two other MLAs – Ramniwas Surajkehra and Jogi Ram Sihag for anti-party activities. Both of them had campaigned in favor of the BJP during the Lok Sabha elections. Apart from this, Narnaund MLA Ramkumar Gauram had also made statements against the party.

Only three loyalists left in JJP

In this way, JJP now has only three loyal MLAs left, including Dushyant Chautala, his mother Naina Chautala and Amarjit Dhanda. In this situation, the party may face a big challenge in the upcoming assembly elections. Haryana assembly elections will be held on October 1 and the election results will be declared on October 4.

Where can these MLAs go

Anup Dhanak, MLA from Uklana in Hisar, was earlier a minister in the Haryana government in the BJP-JJP alliance. There is a possibility that he may join the BJP this time. At the same time, there is a possibility of Devendra Babli, MLA from Tohana in Fatehabad, Ishwar Singh, MLA from Guhla-Chikka in Kaithal district, Ramkaran Kala, MLA from Shahabad in Kurukshetra joining the Congress. It is worth mentioning that the sons of Ramkaran Kala and Ishwar Singh have already joined the Congress, while Devendra Babli campaigned for Haryana Congress leader Kumari Shailaja in the Lok Sabha elections.
