The health department is continuing its action against quack doctors in the district. On Saturday, officials raided the clinic of a Bengali doctor in village Meen of Ghattia. Operation tools were also found at the clinic. The doctor’s wife had given saline to a young man. Due to this, his health deteriorated. After a complaint to the CMHO, the Block Medical Officer (BMO) sealed the clinic.

I was taken to the clinic when I had blisters in my throat

Rajesh son of Mohanlal Chauhan, resident of village Melania Tehsil Mahidpur, had complained that he had taken his son Nilesh Chauhan to Dr. Chandan Vishwas’s clinic in village Meen when he had blisters in his throat. Dr. Vishwas was not present there. His wife Sujata told that the doctor had gone out.

The doctor’s wife treated him

The doctor’s wife said that I am also a doctor and your son has severe ulcers in his throat.
During this time, the doctor’s wife also said that the young man would have to be given saline i.e. bottle.
After this, the doctor’s wife Sujata gave a bottle to a young man named Nilesh.
Within ten minutes, Nilesh’s body became stiff and cold.
His relatives immediately took him to a private hospital in Ujjain, where his condition improved.

Investigating the doctor’s degree

After receiving the complaint, on Saturday, on the instructions of CMHO Dr. Ashok Patel, Ghatia BMO Dr. Anuj Shalya and team reached village Meen for investigation. There they raided Dr. Chandan’s clinic. The officers were stunned to see the clinic. Operation tools and other materials were found there. The clinic has been sealed. CMHO Dr. Patel says that the doctor’s degree is being investigated. For now, the clinic has been sealed. Strict action will be taken after the investigation.

Notice issued to Mahakal Chiro Center operator

Recently, the health department team raided the Mahakal Chiro Care Center located at Dhabla Phanta on Unhel Road. A person named Jitendra Parmar was running the center without a degree or registration. Pathology lab, X-ray machine, physiotherapy machines were installed at the center without permission. Apart from this, a medical store was also being operated without permission. Hence, the center has been sealed. Dr. Patel says that a team has been formed to investigate the center. A notice has been issued and a reply has been sought.
