Heritage quiz competition organized
Examination conducted by Intake members (examination in-charges) in 10 schools of Mandla city
Arun Agarwal, convener of INTACH Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage Bharat Sanskruti Nidhi Mandala Chapter, said that in the selected schools (Maharshi Vidya Mandir, Utkrishta Vidyalaya, Bharat Jyoti, Montfort, Amal Jyoti, Bel Weather, Nirmala, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Saraswati Shishu Mandir, Gyan Deep School), ten students of each school were selected by the principal of the school and the same ten students participated in the competitive examination through objective type question paper.
The exam was held at 11 am and the time limit was one hour. Students from class VII to X appeared in the exam on 10 August 2024. The question paper contained questions related to environment, culture, art, archaeology, tourism. The organizing committee had already informed the concerned school principal about the competition. All the participating students will also be given mementoes and certificates as prizes, which will be distributed by the schools in their program on 15 August or any other program as per convenience.
In this first phase of Heritage Quiz 2024, the selected students from among the 100 participating students will also get an opportunity to participate in the state and national level examinations. On behalf of the school and intake, the members appointed in all the schools today who conducted the examination included Pooja Jyotishi in Utkrisht Vidyalaya, Sunil Agarwal in Saraswati Vidya, Akhilesh Soni in Bharat Jyoti, Pratima Bajpai and Sudhir Kanskar in Nirmala Vidya, Rashmi Pathak in Gyandeep School, Rashmi Bajpai in Kendriya Vidyalaya, Rajesh Kshatriya in Belveder Vidya, NK Yadav in Amal Jyoti Vidyalaya, Sanjulata in Montfort Vidyalaya, Ranjit Kachwaha and Anita Sonagotra in Maharishi Vidya. All the examination centers were inspected by former Principal Arvind Shukla, Arun Agarwal, Ashish Agarwal, Sudhir Kanskar as special supervisor examination in-charge.
