The protest that started from Gwalior in support of Anil Mishra has now spread to many districts including Bhopal, Ratlam, Indore and Jabalpur. Along with tribal, Dalit and Bahujan organizations, BJP, Congress and Azad Samaj Party have also strongly condemned this statement.
On the other hand, a large number of lawyers had gathered in Gwalior in support of Anil Mishra, former president of the district unit of Madhya Pradesh High Court Bar Association.
The police had registered an FIR against senior advocate Anil Mishra for making controversial remarks about Baba Saheb Ambedkar. There was a protest against it.
FIR registered on disputed statement
Recently, an FIR was lodged against Anil Mishra, former president of the district unit of Madhya Pradesh High Court Bar Association and senior advocate, in the Crime Branch police station of Gwalior. According to this, Anil Mishra Advocate is accused of giving a controversial statement against Baba Saheb Ambedkar.
After this, Anil Mishra along with his supporters had reached the SP office to arrest him, but the police did not arrest him and served a notice and sought a reply on it.
Supporters of Anil Mishra say that the police is taking one-sided action against Anil Mishra Advocate. The police is not taking action against those people who are continuously insulting the Hindu Gods and Goddesses and the Golden Society and sharing controversial posts on social media. The protesting lawyers demand that the FIR registered against Anil Mishra be withdrawn.

On the other hand, Madhya Pradesh Congress Scheduled Caste Department in Bhopal demonstrated in the matter of remarks against Ambedkar. Under the leadership of Madhya Pradesh Congress Scheduled Caste Department President Pradeep Ahirwar, the lawyer’s effigy was burnt and immediate action was demanded.
Pradeep Ahirwar said that this is not just an attack on any individual, but an attack on the soul of the Constitution and the dignity of the judiciary. Crores of followers of the country will never tolerate the insult of Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar.
