Kawardha
Incessant rains in Kawardha district of Chhattisgarh for the last 24 hours have completely affected life. Due to lack of bridge in village Baroda Khurd of Sahaspur Lohara block, it has become a serious problem for the villagers. Especially the school going children… they are forced to cross the swollen river every day, risking their lives.
Due to the rise in the water level of the river due to heavy rains, the children remained stranded on the river bank for hours. Seeing the innocent children standing drenched in the rain, some villagers of the village, without caring for their lives, one by one took them across the river.
