The sensational case of looting of Hawala money in Seoni district of Madhya Pradesh has shaken the entire police department. In this case, the state DGP has suspended SDOP Pooja Pandey with immediate effect. Jabalpur Zone Inspector General of Police Pramod Verma has suspended a total of 9 policemen posted in Seoni and Chhindwara districts on charges of suspicious conduct and indiscipline.
The suspended policemen include sub-inspector Arpit Bhairam, head constables Makhan and Ravindra Uike, constables Jagdish Yadav, Yogendra Chaurasia, driver Ritesh, Neeraj Rajput, Kedar and Sadaphal. all these Suture Was posted in Bandol police station and SDOP office of the district. Embezzlement of money related to Hawala business!
This whole matter came to light when a complaint was lodged by the police about alleged looting of Hawala business money worth Rs 2 crore 96 lakh 50 thousand which was going from Katni to Jalna in Maharashtra. It was told that Jalna resident Sohanlal Parmar was carrying this amount in car MH 13 EK 3430. On receiving information on the way, Bandol police station stopped the vehicle between 1 and 2 am.

The next morning the aggrieved party reached the Kotwali police station and lodged a complaint. The matter reached the SDOP office, where the concerned policemen allegedly kept the complainants sitting for hours and later sent them away.

When this information reached DIG Rakesh Kumar Singh, he reprimanded the subordinate officers and ordered an investigation.
Rs 1 crore 45 lakh recovered from the car
By evening, Seoni Superintendent of Police Sunil Mehta issued a statement that Rs 1 crore 45 lakh was recovered from a car during checking under the leadership of SDOP Pooja Pandey on Seeladehi Bypass on Wednesday night. He said that the validity of the amount is being investigated and there will be a departmental inquiry into the allegations against the police.
9 policemen were suspended
IG Pramod Verma said that considering the entire matter as suspicious, 9 policemen have been suspended. He said that the preliminary investigation has found evidence of indiscipline and negligence. Further investigation has been handed over to ASP Ayush Aggarwal, who will reach Seoni and conduct a detailed investigation of the incident. After this action, there is panic in the entire Seoni Police Department. Senior officials say that after the investigation report comes, more strict action will be taken against the culprits.
