In Madhya Pradesh including Chhindwara district, innocent children are continuously dying due to poisonous cough syrup, but Madhya Pradesh government and Chhindwara Collector are not able to get a correct idea of the figures. We are not saying this, rather the Deputy Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh himself had talked about the figure of 20 deaths in the state including 17 deaths in Chhindwara district on Wednesday, whereas today on Thursday, till now the figure of only 14 deaths has reached the Chhindwara Collector. When they do not have accurate figures of child deaths, it is natural to raise questions.
21 children died in Chhindwara alone
Poisonous in Chhindwara district cough syrup So far 21 deaths have occurred due to drinking. Madhya Pradesh Deputy CM and Health Minister Rajendra Shukla himself said on Wednesday that 17 deaths were in Chhindwara district, two in Betul and one in Pandhurna… thus making 20 deaths. Another child breathed his last in Parasia development block of Chhindwara district. In this way the total figure has now become 21, but only 14 deaths have been recorded in the records of Collector Saheb Harendra Narayan. Besides, the Collector is also claiming that five children have been admitted in Nagpur.

During discussion with the media, Chhindwara Collector Harendra Narayan said that poisonous cough syrup In this case, a case was registered against the company’s director and prescription writer Dr. Praveen Soni, in which Dr. Praveen Soni is already in judicial custody, while after reaching Tamil Nadu, Chhindwara police has arrested the company’s director S. Ranganathan. Advance action will be taken by bringing them to Chhindwara. According to the Collector, as of Thursday, the number of dead children is only 14. This statement of Chhindwara Collector on such a sensitive matter which has shocked the entire country, shows his own insensitivity.
24 innocent people have died so far
So far, 24 innocent people have died due to drinking poisonous cough syrup Coldrip in many districts of the state including Chhindwara district. Chhindwara SP Ajay Pandey said that Ranganathan, owner of Shreesan Pharma, has been arrested by the SIT. SIT will soon take him to Chhindwara after taking transit remand. On reaching Chhindwara, Ranganathan will be interrogated, in which it will be clear how many more accused will be made in this case.

SP Ajay Pandey told that since the day the FIR was lodged, Ranganathan’s mobile was switched off and he was constantly changing his locations. The police also feared that he might flee the country. Therefore, there was a challenge before the SIT members, but the 6-member SIT team wisely arrested the accused. SP said that 75 year old accused Ranganathan is a patient of BP and sugar. Therefore, after getting his medical examination done, SIT will bring him to Chhindwara.
