A total of 48 fours and 2 sixes came out of his bat. This brilliant performance of Anvay shows that he rely on patience and technology like his father, but aggression is also visible in his game.

What is Vijay Merchant Trophy?
The victory in the Merchant Trophy which led to the bat of Anvay Dravid is a prestigious Under-16 domestic tournament in India, which is organized by BCCI. It is named after Vijay Merchant, the great Indian cricket player. The purpose of this tournament is to recognize such young players who can represent India in future. Many veterans like Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma also started their career with this trophy.

Mayank Agarwal received the honor for scoring the most runs from Karnataka in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, he scored 651 runs at an average of 93, while R.K. Remon was rewarded for a brilliant innings of 516 runs and two centuries in the Ranji Trophy. Not only this, KL Srijit was honored for scoring the highest 213 runs in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.
