I will talk only through ‘Facebook Live’, CM Himant said on Jubin Garg case

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said on Saturday that he will give all the information related to the death of singer Zubin Garg only through Facebook Live to avoid misunderstandings. On the sidelines of an official program here, the Chief Minister claimed that various media institutions show the selected part of the press conference according to their target audience and this creates confusion in the public.

He said that if you have to say anything about Garg’s death and investigation, then I will say only on Facebook Live. In this environment of the state, dialogue with the public should also be straightforward. CM said that when I address the media, select parts are often cut or removed. This can cause unnecessary stress in the public.

Announcement of formation of judicial commission

The Chief Minister said that he will listen to all the questions of journalists, but answers will be given only on the social media platform so that people can see it in the unknown format. CM Sarma on Friday announced the formation of a judicial commission to investigate Zubin’s death through Facebook Live Broadcasting.

Meeting Jubin Garg’s wife

At the same time, after reaching Guwahati in the evening, the Chief Minister went to his residence in Kahilipada to meet Jubin Garg’s wife Garima. Earlier in the day, Zubin’s wife returned the postmortem report of the late singer to the police, saying that this is not their (dignity) private document and the investigators will be able to decide better whether it should be made public or not.

Death in mysterious circumstances

Singer Zubin died under mysterious circumstances on September 19 while floating in the sea in Singapore. He went to Singapore to participate in the fourth East India Festival organized by Shyamakunu Mahant and his company.

Assam police cannot go to Singapore

The CID’s nine -member Special Investigation Team (SIT) is investigating the case of Zubin’s death in Singapore. At the same time, CM Sarma said that Assam Police cannot go to Singapore to investigate Zubin’s death. He said that until the concerned people do not come forward, we cannot add links.
