Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday denied the possibility of negotiating with the Maoists in any way and said that he should first surrender and then participate in the development of Bastar. He also said that in the last 10 years, the Narendra Modi government of the Center has given more than 4 lakh crore rupees for the development related work in Chhattisgarh. Along with this, many different schemes have also been started in honor of the tribals.
Addressing the program of Bastar Dussehra Lokotsav, 2025 and Swadeshi Mela held at Lalbagh Parade Ground in Jagdalpur, Amit Shah once again reiterated the resolve to completely eradicate Naxalism from the country till 31 March next year.

Union Home Minister Shah earlier offered prayers at the Maa Danteshwari Temple in Jagdalpur and participated in the traditional event Muria Durbar to be held under the world famous Bastar Dussehra festival. In the Muria court, Shah interacted with priests and leaders of tribal community.
