Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday denied the possibility of negotiating with the Maoists in any way and said that he should first surrender and then participate in the development of Bastar. He also said that in the last 10 years, the Narendra Modi government of the Center has given more than 4 lakh crore rupees for the development related work in Chhattisgarh. Addressing the program of Bastar Dussehra Lokotsav, 2025 and Swadeshi Mela held at Lalbagh Parade Ground in Jagdalpur, Amit Shah once again reiterated the resolve to completely eradicate Naxalism from the country till 31 March next year.
