Revealed on Jubin Garg’s death
The investigation has been going on in this case since the death of Famous Singer Jubin Garg. Organizer of the festival, singer manager Siddharth Sharma and two members of the band Shekhar Jyoti Goswami and Amritprabha Mahant have been arrested and sent to 14 days police custody. However, during this time, Shekhar Jyoti Goswami, member of Singer’s band, has made a shocking disclosure. In which he has tailed that Zubin was poisoned in Singapore, due to which he died.
On September 19, 2025, Zubin Garg was injured during scuba diving, after which he died during treatment. According to the information given in the official document present with the police during the interrogation of the case, Jyoti alleged in the detailed grounds of arrest or remand note that Jubin was poisoned by his manager Siddharth Sharma in Singapore and Shyamakanu Mahant, organizer of North East India Festival.
Zubin was gasping for breathing
Zubin’s death was done under mysterious circumstances during scuba diving in Singapore. Jubin went to Singapore to participate in the fourth edition of the Organized event on behalf of Shyamakunu Mahant and his company. The note states that when Zubin Garg was panting to breathe and was almost in a state of drowning, at that time Siddharth Sharma was heard shouting ‘Jobe De, Jobe De’ (Let it, let go).
Jubin Garg was a trend swimmer
The witness has said that Zubin Garg was a trend swimmer and hence he cannot be killed by drowning. It further states that Shekhar Jyoti Goswami alleged that Sharma and Shyamkanu Mahant had poisoned the singer and deliberately chose a place abroad to hide their conspiracy. Siddharth also instructed him not to share videos of the boat with anyone. The CID’s nine -member Special Investigation Team (SIT) is currently investigating the case related to Garg’s death in Singapore.
Caught conspiracy to show accident
CID sources have confirmed the truth of the document. The note said, ‘Witness Shekhar Jyoti Goswami’s statement has revealed that before the death of Zubin Garg, a conspiracy was hatched to show the accident as an accident. Siddharth Sharma’s conduct living in Singapore with Zubin was suspicious. Quoting Shekhar, the note also said that Siddharth had forcibly stripped his control from the boatman, due to which the boat started staggering in the middle of the sea.
Acid reflux was told
It was also told that while drowning, there was a foam coming out of Zubin’s mouth and nose, then Siddharth deferred it as an acid reflux instead of providing necessary medical facilities and assured others that there is nothing to worry. The Assam government has also formed a member Judicial Commission to investigate the case to investigate the death of the singer.
Judicial Commission was formed
The Assam government has formed a member judicial commission to investigate the death case of singer-musician Zubin Garg. This information has been shared in an official order. The order issued by the political department said that this commission headed by Judge Soumitra Saikia of Gauhati High Court will submit its report within six months. The Chief Minister’s Office shared this order on ‘X’ late on 3 October.
