Celebration of valor and pride; A grand event of Air Force Day to be held on Hindon Airbase on 8 October


Indian Air Force

The 92nd Foundation Day of the Indian Air Force will be celebrated with great pomp on 8 October this year. Its preparation is also being done loudly. On this special day, a grand parade, flypast, demonstrations and many attractive programs will be organized at Hindon Air Force Station. After three years, Air Force Day parade will be organized at Hindon Air Force Station. Air Chief Marshal A.P. Singh will take the salute of the parade.

Chief of Defense Staff (CDS), Army Chief (COAS), Navy Chief (CNS) and former Air Force heads will also be present on the occasion. The MI-171 (v) helicopter will flypass flag, in which the flag of Indian tricolor, air force and operation vermilion will be waved. The parade will also include static performance of aircraft. Also, an investment of the President’s Awards has also been organized.

Air Warrier Drill Team will be performed

The air warrior drill team will have a special performance in the program. Sabrato will thrill the audience by showing 18 air warriors of the team by showing rifle drills. Under the heritage flight, Harvard and Hindustan trainer aircraft will show tricks in the sky. Also, 18 new innovations will be displayed in the innovation cell, which will show the self -reliance and future thinking of the Air Force.

The achievements and events of the last one year will also be shown through “walk through”. This event of Air Force Day will be a great confluence of tradition, strength and modern thinking.

Since 2022, the event is being organized at many places including Chandigarh, Prayagraj in 2023 and Chennai in 2024. The Indian Army and the Navy are also organizing their respective programs across the country.

Air Force role in Operation Sindoor

Hindon Airbase of the Indian Air Force played an important role in launching the military operation ‘Operation Sindoor’ targeting Pakistan. According to sources, it served as an important center to deploy aircraft. On May 7, commercial flights from Hindon Civil Terminal were suspended after India started Operation Sindoor.
