Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai today paid floral tributes on his photographs on the birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi and former Prime Minister Late Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri at the Chief Minister’s Residence Office in the capital Raipur.
Chief Minister Sai said that Mahatma Gandhi gave a new direction to the freedom movement of the country through the path of truth and non -violence. Gandhi’s life gives us the message that difficult situations can be faced through the path of strong loyalty and satyagraha. He said that even today Gandhiji’s thoughts are useful in giving a better direction to the society and we all get inspiration from him.
Recalling former Prime Minister late Lal Bahadur Shastri, Chief Minister Sai said that Shastri ji kept simplicity and service paramount in his public life. He raised the morale of the public by giving the slogan of Jai Jawan Jai Kisan. Chief Minister Sai said that Shastri ji’s loyalty and honesty will always inspire citizens. Chhattisgarh Food and Civil Supplies Corporation President Sanjay Srivastava was present on the occasion.
