Indigo will start flight from A320 aircraft
IndiGo said that it would use its Airbus A320 Neo aircraft for flight operation. With this, opportunities for cross -border trade and strategic commercial partnership will be re -established. Tourism will also be encouraged between the two countries.
These flights will begin under the Winter Schedule, although their start will depend on the completion of the commercial decisions of the airlines of the two countries and the completion of all operating standards. This agreement will make people interaction between India and China easier and will be helpful in normalizing bilateral relations.
Improvement in India-China relations
This announcement indicates notable improvement in relations between the two countries, which remained tense despite constant diplomatic contact. Direct flights between the two neighbors were closed for more than 4 years. This decision has come at a time when talks are going on between America and India regarding trade. US President Donald Trump has imposed 50% tariffs on India for Russian oil purchase.
