The central government has released the amount of tax transfer to the states. It has an allocation of Rs 3,462 crore to Chhattisgarh. The maximum of Rs 10,219 crore was given to Bihar, while Goa has received the lowest amount of Rs 392 crore. Rs 7,976 crore has been transferred to Madhya Pradesh. On this, Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai has thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.

CM Vishnudev Sai tweeted on X and wrote that the heartfelt gratitude of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for sanctioning ₹ 3,462 crore to Chhattisgarh under tax transfer. On this auspicious occasion, this allocation is actually a remarkable gift from the Modi government to the people of the state. This significant amount will further strengthen financial resources, speed up development projects and promote welfare initiatives. Our dual -engine government is committed to paving the way for continuous progress and prosperity in Chhattisgarh.
