On the auspicious occasion of Navratri, the state’s Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister Vijay Sharma reached Kawardha and nearby Maa Durga temples and pandals in Kabirdham district today. He wished for the happiness and prosperity and prosperity of the people of the state by offering special prayers here. The Deputy Chief Minister participated in the Mahaarti, offered adornment material and served Mata with Seva Mandali.

Deputy Chief Minister Sharma saw the Durga pandals installed in Kali Temple, Danteshwari Temple, Chandi Temple, Parameshwari Temple and Thakurpara, Kumharpara, Rajmahal Chowk, Bhoramdev Road and Sakraha Ghat. The Deputy Chief Minister met the officials and devotees of the Durga Utsav committees and greeted Navratri. During his stay, he also visited Maa Durga in the pandals located near Chheerpani Colony, Maa Vindhyavasini Temple, Mahamaya Temple and Janpad Panchayat office and participated in the sports competition of children.

Deputy Chief Minister Sharma also participated in the girl worship and food program organized at Veer Savarkar Auditorium, Kawardha and worshiped the girls and made them food. He said that Kanya Pujan is the soul of Navratri festival and it is a symbol of female power, mother power and respect for girls. The respect and empowerment of women in the society is the path of real progress. The Deputy Chief Minister said that Navratri is a festival of power, faith and spiritual energy, which gives us positive inspiration by worshiping various forms of Goddess Durga. He appealed to everyone to celebrate Navratri festival with reverence, devotion and mutual harmony and wished the prosperity, peace and prosperity of the state.
