Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai today reached Bhagat Singh Chowk in the capital Raipur on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Amar Shaheed Bhagat Singh and paid floral tributes on his statue and garlanded him.
Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai said that Amar Shaheed Bhagat Singh was the stunning hero of the freedom struggle of India, who has left indelible inspiration for generations coming from his indomitable courage, unwavering patriotism and supreme sacrifice. His life teaches us that national interest is paramount and renunciation for freedom is a symbol of true patriotism. The Chief Minister said that Bhagat Singh’s views and ideals still motivate the youth for active participation in nation building.
Raipur North MLA Mr. Purandar Mishra, CGMSC President Mr. Deepak Mhaske, Minority Board Chairman Mr. Amarjeet Chhabra and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
