Jyoti will lead Junior Indian women’s hockey team in Australia

Defender Jyoti Singh will lead the 23 -member Indian Junior Women’s Hockey Team, who will go to Australia to play in five matches to be held at the National Hockey Center in Canberra from 26 September to 2 October.

The Indian team will play three matches against Australia’s junior women’s team. She will then play two matches against Canberry Chil, who participated in Australia’s Hockey One League. The tour will be important for the preparation of the FIH Hockey Women’s Junior World Cup 2025, which will be held in December in Santiago, Chile.

The Indian team will hold the responsibility of Nidhi and Angel Harsha Rani Minj Golkeeping, while Defense includes Manisha, Jyoti, Lalthantaluangi, Mamita Oram, Sakshi Shukla, Pooja Sahu and Nandani. The midfield includes Priyanka Yadav, Sakshi Rana, Khaidem Shilma Chanu, Rajni Kerketta, Binima Paddy, Ishika, Sunelita Toppo and Anisha Sahu while the forward line includes Lalornpui, Nisha Minj, Purnima Yadav, Sonam, Kanika Siwach and Sukhveer Kaur.
