The 309th meeting of the Forest Propesta Government Trade Interdomatic Committee (IDC) was held in the hall of Aranya Bhawan in Nawa Raipur under the chairmanship of Forest Minister Kedar Kashyap. Important decisions were taken in the meeting of the Forest Produce Government Trade Interdomatic Committee (IDC). Forest Minister Kashyap said that public welfare decisions taken in the meeting will benefit more to the trade of small forest produce in the state and the income of forest dwellers will increase. At the same time, there will be better economic changes in their standard of living. Minister Shri Kashyap has expressed the hope that this will also encourage forest produce exports.

Forest Minister Minister Shri Kedar Kashyap reviewed the progress of the decisions taken in the 308th meeting. In the meeting, 16 major forest produce under the Minimum Support Price (MSP) scheme of the Government of India for the years 2023-24 and 2024-25-Tendupatta, Amli (Seedless), Mahua Phool, Gum, Harra, Bahera, Chironji, Kodo, Kulthi, Ragi, Giloy, Kusum Seed, Bahra Seed, Bahra Seed etc. Went.

Similarly, in the meeting, necessary guidelines and proposals were also discussed by the committee to determine the sale rates of forest produce under the support price scheme for the years 2024-25 and 2025-26.

On this occasion, Additional Chief Secretary Forest Richa Sharma, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests Shri V. Srinivasa Rao, Managing Director of State Small Forest Produce Association, Mr. Anil Sahu, Secretary Forest Shri Amarnath Prasad and other senior departmental officers were present.
