Within six months, there is a preparation to start service from cities like Rewa, Sagar Gwalior, Bhopal etc. Initially buses will be run for 50 to 100 km away. After this, the facility will be tested and expanded. Route survey work has been completed at some places and many places are going on.

Under the control of urban bodies, already running buses will also be brought under the control of regional assistant companies at the divisional level. Bhopal City Link Limited (BCLL) is operating buses in Bhopal city.

Similarly, buses in Indore and other cities belong to private operators, the local administration is controlled. A holding company is being formed at the state level for the management of public transport service. Below this, assistant companies will be formed at the level of seven divisional headquarters.

Route Sarva’s work completed in Ujjain

Root survey work in Ujjain for bus operation is almost complete. Estimation of the number of buses operated in Indore and Jabalpur is also in the final stages. Transport department officials said that buses will be run by contracting private bus operators. There will be a priority to run electric buses later. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has also given its instructions.

CM meeting this month
