The Central Zone, recovering from some volatile moments, defeated South Zone by six wickets on Monday to become the champion of the Duleep Trophy cricket tournament after a gap of 11 years. Akshay Wadkar (19 not out, 52 balls) and first innings century Yash Rathore (13 runs, 16 balls) were at the crease when the Central Zone scored 66 runs for four wickets in 20.3 overs and won his seventh title in the Dalip Trophy.
