A shocking incident has come to light in Britain’s Oldbury town. A 20 -year -old Sikh woman was raped by 2 men near Tem Road in Oldbury. Consular comments were also made on the woman. According to the victim, she was asked to go back to her country. This incident took place last Tuesday at 8:30 am. Police is considering this incident as a crime done on racial basis.
CCTV and forensic investigation is being done by the police in this case. According to reports, both the accused have been identified as white men. One of which was shaved by the head of the head and was wearing a dark colored sweatshirt, while the other suspect was allegedly wearing a gray top. There is resentment in the local Sikh community due to this incident. The local senior police officer assured that he would increase patrolling in the area.
MPs condemned
British MP Preet Kaur Gill condemned the incident and said that this is an attack on racial basis. The criminals told the victim whether she is here or not, but she is here. Our Sikh community and every community have the right to feel safe, respected and valuable. There is no place here for Oldbury or any other part of Britain, racism, anti -female thoughts or any kind of hatred.
Another MP Jas Athawal has described the incident as a disgusting, racist, anti -female attack. At the same time, two elderly Sikh men were also attacked in Wolvarhampton.
