The Aam Aadmi Party’s honor government has launched a big campaign to bring Punjab back on track. The flood water has landed from many areas, but silt, dirt and debris are still spread in every village. To normalize life and prevent diseases, the government has made a comprehensive plan ranging from cleanliness to health and help of farmers.

Maan Sarkar has said that the campaign of cleanliness will run in more than 2300 villages and wards. JCB, tractor-trolley and workers teams are being sent to every village. These teams will remove debris and silt, destroy dead animals and after that there will be fogging in every village, so that no disease will spread. A fund of Rs 100 crore has been kept for this work.

Each village has been given 1 lakh rupees immediately and additional money will also be available if needed. The government aims to remove the debris from the villages by September 24, the repair of social places should be completed by 15 October and the ponds will be cleaned by 22 October.

Medical camps will be organized in 2303 villages

Health services are also being given priority. Medical camps will be set up in flood affected 2303 villages. These camps will run in 596 villages where there are already common man clinics. Camps will be organized in the remaining 1707 villages in schools, Dharamshala, Anganwadi or Panchayat Bhawan. Doctors, medical staff and medicines will be present in every camp. Apart from this, 550 ambulances are also being deployed, so that people can get treatment immediately.

The government has also taken a front to save livestock. According to the report, about 2.5 lakh animals have been affected in 713 villages. For this, teams of Veterinary Doctors have reached the villages. Poor fodder is being removed, farmers are being given potassium permagnet and vaccination of all affected animals will be completed by 30 September.

Help of farmers and laborers suffering from floods

The biggest concern of farmers is to sell crops. Maan government has decided to start procurement early this time. Purchase will start in the mandis from 16 September. In the mandis which have been damaged by floods, rapid cleaning and repair are being done, so that by September 19, all the mandis are ready to buy the crop of farmers.

Maan Sarkar says that it is not just a relief task, but is a resolve to re -erect Punjab. The government has also appealed to the people that NGOs, Youth Clubs and Social organizations should share this work.
