A senior of Ratlam division said that the Indore-Nagpur Vande Bharat train will probably run with 16 coaches from the first week of October.
Decision to increase coaches in seven Vande India trains
The committee of Railway Board has decided to increase the coach in the Vande Bharat train running between Indore to Bhopal. In view of the ever increasing number of passengers and the huge demand for seats, preparations are being made to add additional coaches to the train. The Railway Board Committee had recently sought a report from all zones and mandals regarding the demand of the Vande Bharat train (how many seats in the train) and the demand of passengers. After this, it was decided to increase coaches in seven Vande Bharat trains running across the country.
52 seats in executive and remaining chaircar coach
According to information received from Ratlam Railway Division, the division had described the lack of passengers and tickets in the increasing number as a major issue. Currently Indore-Nagpur Vande Bharat is of eight coaches, with a total of 530 seats. It has 52 seats in Executive Class and the remaining Chaircar coach. A senior maintenance railway official said that 16 racks have come from the Wadi Bandar depot in Mumbai under Central Railway, who are currently standing on the track near the number three platform of Laxmibai railway station. These racks are maintained afresh.
Indore-Nagpur Vande Bharat train with 16 coaches
The Railway Board will take a final decision on the subject of where the old eight coaches of Indore-Nagpur will be sent. Probably from the first week of October, Indore-Nagpur Vande Bharat train will run with 16 coaches. In view of the upcoming festive season, the Railway Board Committee has decided to increase the coach in Vande Bharat Express. Coach number eight will be increased to 16 coaches. The total number of seats in this will exceed about 1150.
Coach upgradation on these routes
Mangaluru-Tiruvananthapuram Central, Secunderabad-Tirupati, Chennai Egmore-Tirunelveli, Madurai-Bangalore Cantt, Deoghar-Varanasi, Howrah-Raurkela, Indore-Nagpur.
Indore-Nagpur Vande Bharat Express train has got 16 racks in terms of increasing coaches. The maintenance of these coaches continues at the Indore railway depot. Indore-Nagpur Vande is a total of 90 percent of the total in India and 100 percent in some sections.
