Japan’s sea test
ATLA (Acquisition, Technology and Logistics Agency) of Japan’s Ministry of Defense said that this railway gun was tested in the sea between June-July. The traingun was placed on a ship named JS Asuka. During the Test, it fired on the target ship. However, the information about how much the damage was done was not given clear. Earlier, Japan had run a rail gun in the sea, but without any goal. This is the first time its bullet hit the ship directly.
The condition of China and America
The US worked on a train gun for more than 10 years, but in 2021, the project was closed and now it is focusing on laser war and hypersonic weapons. China is not far behind. In 2011, he got a glimpse of the railway gun and since 2014 he has been doing a continuous test.
