Lutnik said that if India does not change its stand, then it may have to face a huge tariff of 50 percent on its exports to America. Comparing the earlier tariff controversy with Canada’s Washington, Lutnik said that only small economies will be damaged by retaliation.
Demand for agreement with America

On Trump’s sarcasm on India and China, Lutnik said that after the commencement of Ukraine War, India increased its oil imports from 2 percent to more than 40 percent. He said that before the Russian conflict, India used to buy less than 2 percent oil from Russia and now they are buying more than 40 percent. They are doing this because oil has been banned, so it is really very cheap because Russians are looking for people to buy it.
