The Revenue Department had allocated 99 acres of land around Kotk in the year 1990 to the Animal Husbandry Department. Since then, 21 operators of the department came and left in 35 years, but remained negligent about the security of the land. The matter of occupation of the infamous fish family on government lands in the capital opened up the department. After that more than 80 permanent encroachments have been found in about seven acres of land. These include houses, shops, petrol pumps, schools, resorts and roads and STPs. 21 operators became in 35 years
Dr. PS Patel is currently operator in the Animal Husbandry Department. In 35 years since 1990, 21 operators have been handled by this department. Dr. RK Rokade was the longest tenure in the Animal Husbandry Department. He remained the operator for 12 years from 2009 to 2021. Meanwhile, Bhopal bypass came out from there. Only then did this land be seen in the land mafia. The main bypass of Kokta was made up to 200 feet on this land and the Municipal Corporation made 50 shops and sold. Gradually, the land was occupied and the operators retired while being ignorant.
Disturbances occurred during these Tehsildars
In Govindpura tehsil, the Tehsildars posted in the last 12 years also did not notice whose land is left there and for what purpose it has been left there. As a result, people got all kinds of permissions on the land of the Animal Husbandry Department and they built a private land and built pucca. Since 2015, Harishankar Vishwakarma, Bhuvan Gupta, Sudhir Kushwaha, Manish Sharma, Santosh Mudgla, Manoj Srivastava, Devendra Chaudhary, Sunil Verma, Mukesh Raj, Dilip Kumar Chaurasia were posted and Saurabh Verma is now taking responsibility.
The then collectors also did not know
In the revenue records, this land is recorded in the name of Animal Husbandry Department. Even after this, even the then Collector and Municipal Corporation Commissioner did not know. This is the reason that the corporation made shops and sold. In the last 12 years, Shivshekhar Shukla, Nikunj Kumar Srivastava, Nishant Barbade, Dr. Sudam Khade, Tarun Kumar Pithoda, Avinash Lavania, Ashish Singh were posted and Kaushalendra Vikram Singh is holding the responsibility on the District Collector’s chair in Bhopal.

The Animal Husbandry Department Retired Director Dr. RK Rokade said that 99 acres of the department is located near Kokta Transport Nagar and Hathikheda Dam. Poultry farm is made on its 11 acres. He was completely monitored. If the information of the land was taken from time to time from other officials including the deputy operator posted in the poultry, then there was no report of no encroachment from there.
Animal Husbandry Department Director Dr. PS Patel said that the demarcation of 99 acres of land of the department has been completed by the administration. Out of which illegal possession has been found in about six acres, which will be taken to remove the land and free the land.
