The weather is being seen across the country these days. Due to heavy rains in many areas, there is havoc, many areas are facing drought. There have been many deaths due to rain so far. These days, the most havoc is seen in Punjab. About 2 thousand villages are in the grip of water here. From the other side, states like Tamil Nadu, Bihar, Jharkhand, Assam and Meghalaya are in the grip of drought.

The torrential rains have been going on for the last one week across the country. Many states, especially in North India, have caused havoc. Due to heavy rains, landslides in the hilly areas were submerged, large cities and rural areas were submerged. The connectivity network has come to a complete standstill, which saw the scene of destruction and many people lost their lives.

Due to this rain in Uttarakhand, accidents have occurred in many places. Where about 79 people died due to natural disasters and 95 people went missing in landslides and cloudburst.

In Punjab these days, the havoc of rain is being seen the most. The record of floods of 1988 has also been broken here. So far 37 people have died in the state due to heavy rains. Apart from this, 1655 villages are submerged due to floods. While more than 3.5 lakh people have been affected. People are leaving their homes and living in relief camps. According to the local people, their animals have been washed away due to this flood. While their crop is completely destroyed.

After crossing the danger mark of the Yamuna river in Delhi, there was a severe flood in the capital, due to which people were evacuated on a large scale and work was stopped at the city’s main cremation ground. Many areas of the capital were flooded.

On the other hand, Uttar Pradesh faced a serious flood situation. Because many rivers were flowing at a serious level, due to which there was waterlogging in cities like Prayagraj.

In Himachal Pradesh, landslides have been done in many places during this whole rain season. Along with this, 11 people have lost their lives due to water falling on the roads and stones from the mountains. However, the administration has appealed people not to come to the mountains these days. Even after this, a large number of people have been rescued by rescuing.

Haryana- Traffic jammed in Rajasthan

Haryana has recorded more rain during this rain season. This is the reason that most of the roads were flooded. This directly affected the traffic, people remained stuck in the jam for hours. On the other hand, six people died due to roof collapse due to rain. The torrential rains stalled the transport routes, disrupting the Delhi-Mumbai railroad and the National Highway remained closed for hours. Due to this, people had to face a lot of trouble.

Rainfall continues across the country. So far, the maximum rainfall has been recorded in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi. From the other side, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat, UP and Assam have increased 20-40 percent more than rain. Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, 19 percent more rainfall than normal. Whereas Tamil Nadu, Bihar and Assam, Jharkhand, Meghalaya have recorded less rainfall than normal. There are drought -like conditions here.
