Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that Bhopal is one of the most beautiful cities of the country. Telling the development of the state capital, the state government is moving towards developing Bhopal as Metropolitan City. The districts around Bhopal will also benefit from this. Western bypass is also being developed with the aim of improving the movement of Bhopal and surrounding areas. The operation of the metro train in Bhopal will also start by October 2025.
In the big pond of Bhopal, hunting of Kashmir like Dal Lake of Kashmir will also be operated in collaboration with the Tourism Development Corporation. Grand gates are being built on major routes through the Municipal Corporation in Bhopal. Along with this, a huge convention center will also be constructed in the city. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the program organized by Municipal Corporation Bhopal in Kushabhau Thackeray Auditorium to honor Bhoomipujan, appointment-letter and cleaning friends of construction works. He launched the program by lighting the lamp.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav performed land-worship of various water supply works at a cost of Rs 582.32 crore under Amrit 2.0 Project in the program and 50 development works to be done in various wards at a cost of Rs 16 crore 76 lakh. Along with this, appointed and compassionate letter was provided and in the Swachh Survekshan 2024, Bhopal also honored the cleaning friends on getting an outstanding place.
Development work in 295 cities in the state
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that as a result of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s commitment to improve the life of every Indian, the availability of clean drinking water to 30 thousand houses of Bhopal city will be ensured in the Amrit 2.0 project. As a result of Prime Minister Modi’s livelihood, along with urban development in the country, the expansion of basic facilities for citizens is also taking place at a rapid pace. This will make the life of the common man simple and easy. Development works are in progress in 295 cities in the state. He said that the urban system in India has been organized and rich since ancient times. Harappa and Mohenjodado are examples of this.
India’s economy today in fourth place in the world
Dr. Yadav said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, India’s economy has reached fourth place in the world today. There is a credibility of Indian democratic system in the world. The responsibility of local bodies is important in Indian democracy. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that be it the center or the state, when any scheme is implemented, the first role is of the bodies. The people of Bhopal have historically introduced their lively democratic rites. The merger movement started in Bhopal after independence is an example of this. Due to the activism of democratic institutions of the country and the realization of security given by the Indian Army to the countrymen, the pace of development in all areas including our economy has accelerated.
Development of cities is important in the development of the state- Kailash Sarang
Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Vishwas Kailash Sarang said that the development of cities is very important in the development of any state. If there is constant employment opportunities in the cities, then the size of the cities increases. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has focused on the development of cities. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has started many welfare schemes for the development of cities, which are proving to be a milestone. Prime Minister Shri Modi started developing a smart city and started the cleanliness survey. This year, Bhopal has got second place in cleanliness. The Amrit Project 2.0 scheme will construct tanks for removing the problems of cities and supply of clean drinking water. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, the works of industrial development and employment generation are being done. He called upon Bhopal residents to make every possible contribution to make Bhopal number-1 in the next cleanliness survey.
Mayor Bhopal Malti Rai said that under the Amrit Project 2.0 scheme by Bhopal Municipal Corporation, 4 filter plants and 4 intakewells will be built for future drinking water. Also, drinking water will be made available from 700 km long pipeline from 36 high -level tanks. After untimely death of 31 employees of Bhopal Municipal Corporation, letters of compassionate appointment are being distributed to their family members. Appointment letters were also provided to 24 candidates selected from direct recruitment. Due to the cooperation of cleaning friends, Bhopal has achieved the achievement in the cleanliness survey. We all have the responsibility of honor of cleaning friends for this success.
