Trump said after meeting Putin- there is no need to increase tariff on India’s oil imports

The US President Donald Trump had recently said to impose a huge tariff and ban on countries with Oil Import Policy from Russia. He also accused India of promoting Ukraine War by doing Russia’s financial assistance.

Meanwhile, there was a meeting between Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska. After the meeting, Trump, in his statement, showed that he did not need to put counter tariffs on countries buying Russian oil right now. However, he also added that it may have to consider it in the coming two to three weeks.

There is no need for this at the moment- Trump

In a conversation with Sean Hannie, Trump said, “After what happened today, I think there is no need to think on the subject. Maybe I have to consider it in two or three weeks, but there is no need for it at the moment.” Trump also said that the meeting with Putin was quite good. Significantly, this meeting of Trump and Putin is considered to be important between Ukraine War and the trend of Western countries.

Instead of trump

Earlier, where the American East President Trump’s stance looked strict and he was warning Russia to take strict steps on the countries buying oil, after the meeting, his stance looked relatively soft. This indicates that the situation may be more clear about their policy in the coming weeks.
