Female Cheetah ‘Jwala’
The female cheetah of Kuno National Park located in Sheopur district of Madhya Pradesh ‘Jwala crossed the forest in search of a new area and reached Ranthambore Tiger Reserve of Rajasthan. After reaching the field of tigers, he was killed, but due to the promptness of the forest department, he was brought back to safe Kuno in just 7 hours. The location of Jwala was traced with the help of radio collar. On Tuesday, he was brought unconscious in Sawai Madhopur and brought to Koono safe from a vehicle.
Cheetah Jwala was seen on the road near Manpur and Kashipur villages on Sunday. Then reached Karira village (Rajasthan) via Rameshwar Sangam, Fatehpur and Chambal, where she hunted two goats. His presence in the range of Ranthambore had increased the concern of wildlife experts, as there could prove to be fatal with tigers there. While monitoring the security cameras and radio collar, the joint team of Kuno and Rajasthan carried out the operation while alert.
Jwala cheetah was looking for a new area
The female cheetah Jwala is seen active in search of a new area these days. According to forest department officials, wild animals often move from their old region to new areas for the availability of hunting and favorable environment. Even before this, Jwala has also wandered in Veerpur town for three to four days, which makes it clear that she is constantly looking for her new area.

Along with Jwala, his cubs were also roaming out of the Kuno forest, on Monday night, Jwala covered a distance of 100 kilometers from his cub and reached Ranthambore Century in Rajasthan, while the cub was seen in Manpur area.
