The Supreme Court has seriously accepted the proposal of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav in view of reservation for scheduled castes, scheduled tribes and other backward classes in Madhya Pradesh. CM Yadav said that the state government is determined about reservation. In fact, Madhya Pradesh Public Service (Reservation for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes) Amendment Act, 2019-OBC reservation was argued by the Supreme Court on the constitutional validity of reservation.
After listening to these arguments, the arguments of the state government were churned in the Supreme Court today. The Supreme Court now agrees for the final hearing in this case. The matter has been placed in the ‘Top of the Board’ category on 23 September 2025. That is, now the matter will be heard daily till the final decision.
Government cited problems in new recruits
In fact, Solicitor General Tushar Mehta, Additional Solicitor General K. Natraj and Advocate General Prashant Singh were told by the state government that there is a problem in the new recruitments due to adjournment on OBC reservation by the High Court. In view of its seriousness, hearing should be held soon.
Congress is misleading- CM Yadav’s attack
Let me tell you that during the recent monsoon session of the assembly, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav had said that the Congress is adopting a double character on the matter of 27% reservation inside the state. The Congress spoke with weak facts without information. Now she lies on the basis of that matter.
He said that we are saying on Danke’s injury that 27% will give reservation. Where there was no stay inside many of our departments, we have already given reservation 27% earlier. But, where the matter is stuck in the court, we are writing 27% reservation in favor of the government on our behalf.
