Mahendra Singh Dhoni has once again given relief to his loved ones. In an interview recently, he made it clear that he was not separating from Chennai Super Kings (CSK). He clearly said-“I and Chennai Super Kings are together. For the next 15 to 20 years I will be seen in Yellow Jersey, whether I play or not.”
It is clear from Dhoni’s statement that fans will continue to realize the presence of their favorite ‘Thala’ for many years, whether they are as players or in the role of coach/mentor.
Dhoni’s 20 -year promise with CSK
When Dhoni was asked questions about the possible separation between him and CSK, he replied in a very emotional manner –
“This is not just a matter of one or two years, but this relationship will last long. I am not going away from Yellow Jersey.”
Dhoni’s statement puts an end to all the speculation that was rising from his retirement and separation from CSK.
