Madhya Pradesh government is running a campaign with every house tricolor, every house cleanliness: celebration of freedom, cleanliness. The government will complete this campaign in three phases. The main objective of the campaign is to motivate every citizen to hoist the national flag at their home. This campaign will awaken the spirit of patriotism among the people as well as promote respect for the national flag. Not only this, by spreading awareness about cleanliness and water conservation of the state government, this campaign also strengthens the Swachh Bharat Mission of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The Madhya Pradesh government is committed to establish this campaign as a mass movement so that every citizen can become a part of this festival. This year, this campaign will be held in three phases from 2 to 15 August 2025.
First Phase (2 to 8 August)
Under the campaign, awakening of patriotic environment from August 2 to 8 and public programs focused on the tricolor, discussions will be organized. In this phase, schools, colleges and public places will be decorated with tricolor -inspired art and rangoli. Quiz based on the history of the tricolor, tricolor rakhi construction workshops, and letter writing competitions will be organized. In public places, weaving of tricolor colors will also be demonstrated.
Second phase (9 to 12 August)
In the second phase, there will be large -scale events in the form of tricolor festival. Awareness programs, tricolor trips, and cultural activities will be organized at the community level. In the second phase of the campaign, work will be done for bringing people together from August 9 to 12, widespread publicity, availability of flags and visibility of tricolor in public places. Local products will have programs like tricolor fair, tricolor saffron, tricolor bike/tricolor cycle rally, tricolor travel with high public participation, sales of tricolor flag and proper arrangement, human chain construction, tricolor anthem.
Third phase (13 to 15 August)
In the third phase of the campaign, from August 13 to 15, installing tricolor on houses, offices and vehicles, selfie uploads, the visibility of the tricolor and the Ministry of Culture will continue to continuously exchange information. Important programs will be held everywhere, tricolor visibility, records with tricolor etc. In this phase, the tricolor will be hoisted in all government buildings, educational institutions, offices, and public places.
The Madhya Pradesh government has made extensive preparations to make this campaign a success. The Department of Culture has issued detailed guidelines to all district collectors, the concept of this campaign run with the joint cooperation of Central Drinking Water and Sanitation Department, Ministry of Water Power and Ministry of Culture is based on collective celebration and a sense of civil unity, in which the essence of freedom has been associated with the resolve of cleanliness and the resolve of cleanliness and the ease. Ensuring safe water supply, effective water, hygiene and health and better hygiene in rural areas, Prime Minister Shri Modi’s resolve will be strengthened. Under this campaign, activities related to cleanliness and water conservation will be promoted.
Various activities will be organized in gram panchayats
The campaign will include various activities in villages, gram panchayats under the Swachh Bharat Mission (SVM-G) and Water-Life Mission (JJM), including clean Sujal Village pledge, community cleaning campaign, cleaning of assets, awareness activities, awareness activities, water conservation and on 15 August 2025 including Amrit Sarovar, public places etc. This symbolic work reflects freedom, dignity and welfare brought by access to safe water and hygiene.
In this campaign, active participation of districts, blocks and gram panchayats will be ensured. In this, local institutions, village water service committees, self-help groups, panchayati raj institutions, self-servants and advance-row workers will be motivated to lead and participate in this campaign. Panchayats, self -help groups, students of schools, village water committees and front row workers will be involved in this campaign. To make the campaign a success, the General Administration Department has issued instructions to all divisional commissioners, collectors and concerned departments.
Patriotism, cleanliness and environmental protection will be platform
This campaign is not limited to hoisting the tricolor only, but it brings patriotism, hygiene, and environmental protection on one platform. This campaign will be celebrated as a celebration in rural and urban areas of Madhya Pradesh, in which school children, youth, and all sections of the community will actively participate. Tricolor rakhi manufacturing and rangoli competitions will promote creativity and patriotism among children and youth.
“Every house tricolor, every house cleanliness: celebration of freedom, cleanliness with cleanliness” campaign will give a new dimension to the celebration of freedom in Madhya Pradesh. This campaign will not only increase respect for the national flag, but will also help in achieving important social goals like cleanliness and water conservation.
