3 students drowned in waterfall
A painful accident occurred on Friday in Narsinghpur district of Madhya Pradesh. Three school students died of drowning in a waterfall located in the forest near Vildha village under Sutala police station area. Locals first saw the bodies of two teenagers floating in the waterfall. After this, the police was informed.
The police and rescue team immediately reached the spot and started the rescue operation and the body of the third student was also removed from the water late at night. The deceased have been identified as Tanmay Sharma, resident of Sanskar City, Ashwin Jat, a resident of Dhughat and Akshat Soni, a resident of Gokul Nagar. Tanmay was a student of Chawra Vidyapeeth in class 12, while Ashwin and Akshat studied in excellent school.
Walled to go to school
It is being told that Friday was a school holiday. The three students had come out of the house on the pretext of going to school, but did not return home. The family had filed a missing report in the police station after no information was received till late evening. Students’ school bags and clothes have been found near the waterfall from the scene. Due to which it became clear that they had landed in the waterfall for bathing and possibly drowned due to depth or slippery.
No security arrangements
Local citizens said that the waterfall areas of Vildha and Indira Nagar are already considered dangerous. There are no strong security arrangements here, nor any warning boards have been installed. Many times, due to the negligence of the youth and the ongoing anti -social activities there, there have been accidents, but no strict steps were taken by the administration. Weeds are overshadowed in all three houses and family members are in a bad state. The police have sent the bodies for postmortem and the investigation of the case is going on.
