Concerned by the decision of America, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Naidu, told what will happen to the tariff, will deal with this

Chandrababu Naidu

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu expressed concern over the impact of American tariff on aquatic farmers. Addressing a public meeting on Saturday, he said that a possible impact of this tariff can be seen on the aquatic farmers of the state. Therefore, the state government will take necessary steps in response to 25% tariffs imposed on Indian products by the US.

Let me tell you that Chandrababu Naidu’s party Telugu Desam Party is an ally of NDA at both state and center levels and he is the first Chief Minister to express concern about the impact of Trump’s tariff decision.

Aquatic farmers will increase the burden

CM launched PM Kisan -Annadata Sukhi Bhava Yojana in Darsi. Addressing the farmers during the launch of the scheme, he said that 25% tariff imposed on India by US President Donald Trump will increase the burden on the state’s aquatic farmers. He said that the government is well acquainted with the concern of the farmers and for this it will make a plan to discuss the farmers.

Government provides subsidy electricity to farmers

Addressing the gathering, Naidu said that the state government provides electricity to aquatic farmers at a concessional rate of 1.50 paise per unit. He said that due to increasing tariffs in America, the fishermen of the state will be burdened. But farmers do not need to be worried about this matter. The state government will prepare an action plan for this. He said that the government used to give Rs 10,000 to fishermen earlier, but now its amount has been increased to Rs 20,000. The CM said that the government has given money to more than 1 lakh people under Matsyakara Sewalo.

Wrote a letter to the center demanded security

Naidu had written a letter to the central government before putting the tariff of Trump and demanded that the state’s aquatic farmers provide protection from American tariffs. The CM had written a letter to Union Minister Piyush Goyal, urging that he took steps to exemption aquatic products from the additional charges being levied by the Trump administration.

Let us know that on July 31, US President Donald Trump announced 25% tariff on Indian products. Apart from this, he has imposed less tariffs from India on Bangladesh and Pakistan. 20% tariffs have been imposed on Bangladesh and only 19% on Pakistan.
