A sensational incident has come to light on Tuesday in the Shri Krishna campus under Garha police station of Jabalpur city of Madhya Pradesh. The accused youth tried to hide himself by wearing women’s clothes and burkha to carry out the crime, so that no one could recognize it. The incident happened when Dr. Neelam was alone in her flat. The accused youth Mukul Kahar had sought work from the female doctor a day earlier and then the next day entered his house with the intention of stealing and attacked him with a knife seven times one after the other. The accused is also seen in the CCTV camera knocking the door and going inside and catching it by the running people.
According to the information received from the police, both 35 -year -old Dr. Neelam Singh and her husband Virendra Singh are doctors. Neelam Singh is posted in the Department of Medicine at Medical College Hospital. And used to live in the 712 number room of the building of Shri Krishna campus in Sanjeev Nagar of Garha police station area. The doctor’s husband was out at the time of the incident and Dr. Neelam Singh was alone in the house. At the same time, according to the Aadhaar card from the accused, the young man Mukul Kahar is a resident of Rampur Mandwa Vasti and used to distribute water in the area. He has been seen in the medical college and nearby colonies many times before.
Deadly attack on female doctor
According to the information, a day before the incident, he asked Dr. Neelam Singh to ask for a job or work. On Tuesday afternoon, he wearing women’s clothes and burkha entered the doctor’s house quietly. Finding the female doctor alone, he attacked him seven to eight times with a sharp knife. Hearing the screams, the people gathered around and caught the accused.
Accused imprisoned in CCTV
People beat the accused fiercely and immediately informed the Sanjeevani Nagar Police. Blood stained knife was also recovered from the accused. This entire incident is confirmed by CCTV footage, in which the accused is visible while trying to run and try to escape. The injured doctor Neelam Singh was immediately admitted to the Medical College Hospital, where he is undergoing treatment. Doctor Neelam is posted in the Department of Medicine and holds a very responsible position. At present, his condition is said to be critical.
Local people caught the attacker
There was resentment towards the police administration among the local people about the incident. People allege that the incident site falls in the Gadha police station area, but at a distance of 100 meters in front of the premises, there is Sanjeevani Nagar Police Station, due to which information was first given to Sanjeevani Nagar police station. From there, it was not helped by saying that this area does not come under them. Gadha police station took about one and a half hours to reach the police, despite being just one kilometer away. The same ambulance was informed but did not reach for about one and a half hours, then the doctor was taken to the medical hospital by taking the auto by the local people. Due to which there was a lot of anger among the police and administration.
