On Wednesday night, there was an atmosphere of chaos in Kamal Tirahe in the city when a crook reached a blood-stained knife and started scaring people. Seeing this, the shopkeepers closed the shutters of their shops. Due to which there was silence in the entire market ahead of time.
Kotwali police station in -charge Sitaram Solanki said that listed Gunda Hemant and Dinu gave liquor to Kundan Mehrolia in the first bus stand. Hemant then suddenly took out the knife and attacked Kundan in his hand. Due to which he got a wound in his hand.
Kundan somehow escaped and ran away from there, Hemant and Dinu followed him and reached Kamal Tirahe. There too, he started threatening to intimidate people. Due to which people came into panic.
Apart from this, some people had also spread rumors of looting by miscreants, which made people more scared. As soon as the information was received, the police force including CSP Gaurav Patil, police station in -charge Sitaram Solanki reached the spot. Then the shopkeepers breathed a sigh of relief.
After searching for about an hour, the police have arrested Dinu, while the main accused Hemant is still absconding. A case has been registered against both under various sections of BNS.
Police said Hemant was district. He returned to the city two days ago and then committed crime. In the past, cases of tightness were also registered against him.
