He made some such complaints about the wives, which all the people present there were stunned. Divyang beggar Shafiq Sheikh told the collector that he has two wives. Both fight a lot among themselves, due to which the employment of their begging is being affected.
The beggar said- but he does not want to leave both wives. Rather, he wants to put both together, under the same roof. Collector Rishav Kumar Gupta was shocked to hear this about Shafiq. Not only this, officials of other departments sitting in public hearing were also stunned. The Collector has sent the complaint of the beggar to the Women and Child Development Department for investigation. Now the department will try to intervene the matter by calling both the wives of Shafiq.
Two nikahs in two years intervals
Here, Shafiq, who arrived with the complaint, told that he has two wives. The name of the first wife is Shabana, while the second wife’s name is Farida. She was married to Shabana in 2022 and she married Farida in 2024. Shafiq is Netrahin and lives by begging in trains and buses running between Khandwa to Maharashtra.
Explain the wives
Shafiq told that he earns two to three thousand rupees daily from begging. Shafiq said that he is capable of raising both wives. But the two wives fight a lot among themselves, due to which the employment of begging is being affected. That is why the Collector should intervene in this matter and explain to both wives.
What did the collector say listening to the beggar?
The collector was stunned for some time after hearing these things of begging Shafiq. But later he instructed the women and child development officer to resolve the matter. Said that both wives of Shafiq should be called and explained. Shafiq said that he wants to keep both wives with them in the same house, but the two continue to quarrel with each other, due to which Shafiq is not even able to be begging in the process of settling their quarrels. He could not even earn money like this.
