Türkiye has become the creator of bombs that cause heavy destruction, not just the exporter of the drone. In fact, Turkey has introduced two most dangerous non-atomic bombs in the world in the ongoing International Defense Industry Fair (IDEF 2025) in Istanbul.
The names of these two weapons are Gazap and Neb-2 Ghost. Both bombs weigh 970 kg and can be fired with F-16 fighter jet. In the presence of defense companies, armies and strategic analysts, Turkey not only sold his weapons but also showed the world that he has now become a serious arms exporter.
What is the specialty of Gazap?
The Gazap bomb has been prepared by the Research and Development Center of the Ministry of Defense of Türkiye. Its special thing is that 10.16 fragments explode every meter, while traditional bombs have such an effect within a radius of 3 meters. Due to this multi-father design, both radius and effect have become more fatal. According to Turkish officials, Gazap has now gone through the process of testing and certification and is ready for use.
Neb-2 ghost, bunker bomb
The second bomb Neb-2 Ghost is considered the world’s most effective bunker buster. This bomb is so powerful that while American missiles find a 2.4 meter thick wall of C35 grade concrete, the Neb-2 C50 grade, which is three times strong, distinguishes 7 meters thick wall of concrete.
During testing from F-16, it was dropped on an island where it entered the ground for 90 meters depth and crushed landslides, gas leaks and rocks. Due to its time-diley technology, the explosion occurred at 240 milliseconds instead of 25 milliseconds, causing more havoc inside.
