Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav congratulated the state’s achievements in the Swachh Survekshan 2025 on Nagpanchami. He said that the entire state and every citizen are proud with the honor of national level. Indore retained the honor of the country’s number one city in the eighth consecutive year and Bhopal was chosen as the second clean city of the country. 41 regions have received star rating. A state level program will be organized on the occasion of Janmashtami.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said in his address before the meeting of the Council of Ministers that 338 cities of the state were successful in getting a certificate of ODF double plus and 24 city water plus. Out of 66 of Ujjain division, 56 cities have improved their rank.
Booking PMshree Vayu Seva on IRCTC portal
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that with the aim of encouraging tourism investment in the state, more than 80 major tour operators attended the Regional Tourism Conclave focused on wildlife and offbeat destination in Rewa on 26 and 27 July. Major investors expressed their desire to invest more than Rs 3 thousand crore in Rewa and Shahdol and divisions. On this occasion, Shahdol Food Craft Institute costing Rs 15 crore 60 lakh was inaugurated. The foundation stone of spiritual development works worth Rs 27 crore was also laid in Chitrakoot.
He informed that the booking facility of PMshree air service was started on the IRCTC portal. The Conclave contract was signed with Barcode Entertainment and Quicky Digital for digital promotion. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav informed that Venkat Bhawan of Rewa will be protected through Indira Gandhi Kala Kendra, which will cost about 20 crores. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav informed that the Village Reform Committee, MM for the construction of art and craft centers in Mandla, Didauri, Singrauli, Sidhi and Seoni. An MoU was done with Foundation and Samarth Sanstha.
Tourism products will get a platform
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh Travel Mart (MPTM) will be organized in Bhopal from 11 to 13 October. For this purpose, to encourage tourism of the state, the stakeholders of the tourist sector are to provide a platform for the promotion of their tourism products and a platform to the stakeholders of the tourist sector such as hotel owners, resort owners, travel tour operators.
He said that as its prior preparations, the Regional Tourism Conclave will be organized in Gwalior on August 12-13 and Indore on 20-21 September. Regional tourism conclave released in the state is being organized as preparations for Madhya Pradesh Travel Mart. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that sites will be developed from the point of view of tourism for eccentricity like Dharmarajeshwar of Mandsaur and Dharmarajeshwar of Mandsaur.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav discussed the glory of Mahakaleshwar Temple in the context of Nagpanchami and the existing faith in Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra for Nagdwari in Pachmarhi.
