People sitting on the roof of the bus
In Niwari, Madhya Pradesh, people travel on the roof of buses. In such a situation, people’s lives are in danger. People sitting on the roof of buses look like this from a distance. Like traveling in a new class of an open-air airlines. As soon as the inner seats are filled, the driver or conductor says very easily, “Brother, the place is empty, sit down, the wind will also get and the fun from above.”
But this ‘adventure’ is fatal. Without any security arrangements, these passengers sitting on the roof of the bus are in panic to hit the road, bumpy roads and stars on the road. This is not fun, but a direct performance of negligence. The thinking of bus operators is no longer service, only profit has been made. Rules and laws have become a joke in his eyes.
The passengers are seated on the roof of buses
The priority of bus operators is just one that more rides, more earning. Even if the roof has to be filled for it. When the government transport system is poor in areas due to lack of employment and convenience, then the arbitrary peak of such private operators reaches the peak. The result is that a small bus is doubly doubling riders.
Due to such negligence, there have been many major accidents in many parts of the country. Incidents of overloaded buses turning or falling from the roof remain in the news. But perhaps no major accident happened in Niwari district. Therefore everyone is carefree. But this unforgiving can be overwhelming one day. Common people should understand that their lives are very valuable.
What did SDOP say on the case?
Arrangements should be made for safe means like government buses and mini vans in rural areas so that people do not have to choose this option under compulsion. When SDOP Sanjeev Kumar Tiwari of Prithvipur was talked about this matter, he said that action will be taken in the case and such a situation will not be allowed to create that people should travel on the roof of buses, buses should be operated according to the rules.
