27 Kailash Mansarovar passengers of the state leave

The operator of Naman Holledage, the capital, said that Central India is the only agency in India that has been successfully conducting the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra for the last 20 years. The journey was postponed for the last six years due to Kovid-19, which has now been resumed. On July 18, the first party from Chhattisgarh left for a total of 27 passengers.

The operator informed that the route of the yatra is scheduled from Raipur to Lucknow, Nepalganj, Simikot, Hilsa, Taklakot and Mansarovar. The operator said that the duration of the journey is about 11 to 12 days, and per passenger expenses are currently estimated from 2.80 lakh to 3.20 lakhs, which used to come within 2 lakhs earlier. The main reasons behind the huge increase in this expenditure are -1. Increase in US dollars rates, 2. A huge increase in sugar permit fees, 3. Increase in travel and medical insurance rates.

The operator said that this has made it more difficult for Shiva devotees to visit Kailash than before. When the passengers kept this subject in discussion with the Hon’ble Assembly Speaker and the Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister, they consider the difficulties of the devotees and sympathetically consider the proposal to increase the current 50,000 subsidy by the state government to 1,00,000.
