CM Dr. Yadav said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the caravan of development is going on. Our government is moving in one direction with full force. In the Rewa Regional Conclave, investment proposals of 31 thousand crore were received only a few months ago. An investment proposal of Rs 30 lakh crore was received in GIS. Also, 21 lakh people also opened the way for employment. Tourism is also the same as the industry, so they are ready to provide every facility in this sector as well.
Mohan Yadav said that we are proud that the sector of tourism in Madhya Pradesh has increased at the fastest pace. It has a big role of religious tourism. Government working continuously
Significantly, the Madhya Pradesh government is actively working on specific projects for the development of tourism in the Vindhya region. In order to provide specific experiences and facilities to tourism in Vindhya region, Ghats, bridges and other facilities have been developed under the Prasad scheme at a cost of Rs 50 crore in Amarkantak. These facilities have been introduced by the Union Ministry of Tourism. With this, Amarkantak is to be established as a major spiritual and natural tourist destination.
Development of religious places
Similarly, Chitrakoot is also an important religious place. Here Lord Shri Ram spent a long time of his exile. Work is being done at a cost of about 36.84 crore rupees for the development of Kamatgiri Parikrama Path. Apart from this, special spiritual experiences are being developed at Raghav Ghat, Bharat Ghat on the banks of Mandakini under the Swadesh Darshan Yojana of the Government of India at Chitrakoot at a cost of about 27 crore rupees. The scheme also includes operations and maintenance of components constructed for the next 9 years.
The Sharda Devi Temple, located 65 km from Rewa, is a major center of reverence. Thousands of devotees come here from Uttar Pradesh and other states. Employment with skill development
Shahdol Food Craft Institute is being set up to train the youth of the state in the tourism sector. It is constructed at a cost of Rs 15.62 crore. It was also released today. The Food Craft Institute is already operated in Rewa. The institute is recognized by the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT). It will also operate free schemes like ‘Hail to Employment’ of the Union Ministry of Tourism along with one and a half year diploma courses. This will provide employment opportunities to the youth of the state.

Let me tell you, a letter of allotment (LOA) was issued for 6 lands to promote investment in the tourism sector during the conclave. In the Vindhya region, it will directly create an investment of more than Rs 12 crore and hundreds of employment opportunities directly and indirectly. Hotels, resorts and eco -tourism units etc. will be constructed on these lands. These allocations will strengthen tourism infrastructure in different parts of the state and create new employment opportunities.
PM Shri Tourism Air Services Booking Portal
With the aim of taking tourism to new heights in Madhya Pradesh, PM Shri Tourism Air Service was started on 13 June 2024 in collaboration with the Department of Tourism. For the first time, 2 twin engines aircraft are being operated under this service. This service is being operated between Bhopal, Indore, Satna, Rewa and Singrauli. Its ticket booking is currently being done through www.flyola.in, and now it will also be booked on the IRCTC website with the aim of making publicity and booking more convenient.
Home stay online booking portal launch
Home stay online booking portal has been launched by connecting villagestay developed in tourism villages of the state with digital booking system. With this, local homestay will now be able to book easily through major online travel agencies (OTAS) like Makemytrip, Easemytrip, Yatra.com at national and international levels. This will give them more booking rates. This initiative will digitally empower rural entrepreneurs and increase local employment and income.
Signature of important MoU
An MoU was signed with Village Reform Committee, MM Foundation and Samarth Sanstha for the construction of art and craft centers in Mandla, Dindori, Singrauli, Sidhi and Seoni. This MoU will provide livelihood opportunities to the conservation of local art and handicraft, training, production and women and artisans under the Responsible Tourism Mission.
The MoU was also signed between Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board and two major digital marketing companies Barcode Entertainment and Quicky Digital. This partnership will convey the beauty, cultural heritage and stories of tourist destinations to the wide audiences including the youth through social media and digital platforms. The LOA has been exchanged between Indira Gandhi National Center for Arts and Archaeological for the protection of Venkat Bhawan in Rewa.

To attract investment in tourism, Madhya Pradesh Tourism Policy 2025 has been made attractive for investment. Online portal has been created to give permissions to investors. For the convenience of investors, a separate cell has been set up and transparent tender process has been established. The 30 -day time taken for permissions has been reduced to 10 days. Investors investing more than Rs 100 crore directly allocate land for 90 years. They are also provided capital subsidy.
Film tourism policy
To encourage film production, all permissions are given from the single window system in the state’s film Tourism Policy 2025. It has been brought under the Public Service Guarantee Act. Incentive incentives are provided on film production in local and regional languages. More than 450 films of MP have been shot. Film tourism not only brings revenue, but also creates employment for local artists, technicians and supporting services. This provides multidimensional benefits to the economy.
Focus on rural home stay
With the rural tourism policy, we are setting up rural home stays around tourist places. Villagers, especially women, are benefiting from this. It represents an inclusive development model. In this, the economic benefits of tourism are not limited to urban centers, but reach rural areas.
