Madhya Pradesh Minister of State for Public Health and Medical Education Narendra Shivaji Patel said that Bhopal Nawab (Bhopal Nawab) was a traitor and said to change the names of all the places known in his name. The minister said this to the media during the inauguration program of state -of -the -art CT scan and MRI machine at Hamidia Hospital affiliated to Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal.
Minister Narendra Shivaji Patel said that Bhopal Nawab did not agree to merge in India. After the independence of the country on 15 August 1947, the tricolor flag was not hoisted in the princely state of Bhopal.
Bhopal Nawab shot the people of India. He killed more than 6 people. Such a Nawab could not be a patriot. There is a need to change the name of everyone, there should be any building in his name.
It is worth noting that the Hamidia Hospital where the minister reached, is named after Nawab Hamidullah Khan of Bhopal. Hamidia School in Bhopal was also named after the Nawab.
BJP MLA Rameshwar Sharma, the first BJP MLA of Minister Narendra Shivaji Patel, also said that whatever property is in Bhopal, it is all of Raja Bhoj. Raja Bhoj had built the pond in the city.
Congress MLA Arif Masood raised objection
Congress MLA Arif Masood objected to Nawab Hamidullah Khan being called a traitor at a council meeting in Bhopal. He had said that the Municipal Corporation president has no information about the history of Bhopal. Such things are an insult to our heritage.
