According to the intention of Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, the Health Department is busy with full readiness to provide better, transparent and accessible health facilities to the people of Chhattisgarh. In this direction, a review meeting of departmental schemes was held today at CGMSC (Chhattisgarh Medical Service Corporation Limited) office located in Sector-27 of Naya Raipur under the chairmanship of Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal.
One step towards transparency – new website launched
During the meeting, Minister Jaiswal (CG News) launched the new website of CGMSC, which aims to bring transparency in departmental works and provide accurate information related to the schemes to the public. Information about all the schemes of the department, availability of medicines and procurement processes on this portal will now be publicly accessible.
Emphasis on quality medicines and time bound supply
The Health Minister (CG News) directed the officials to ensure only the purchase of branded and quality drugs and their time bound and smooth supply should be in every district. He said that the health protection of three crore people of the state is dependent on CGMSC, so any negligence is unacceptable.
CGMSC told the integral part of the health department
Minister Jaiswal (CG News) said that CGMSC not only supplies medicines and medical equipment, but is the backbone of healthcare mechanisms. He instructed to complete the construction work and purchase procedures within the stipulated time and also compulsorily include training and efficiency in the works.
Healthcare system will be strengthened in a planned manner
CGMSC President Deepak Meske and health services secretary Amit Kataria were specially present in the meeting. CGMSC Managing Director Mrs. Padmini Bhoi gave detailed information about schemes, works and procurement processes. Chairman Mhske said that the meeting has brought new direction and energy and the quality of works will be improved further in the coming way.
New criteria of healthcare will be decided by the participation of officials
All senior CGMSC officials were present in the review meeting (CG News) and it was agreed to take concrete steps to improve health facilities in the state. The minister said that it is the priority of the government to implement departmental schemes not only on paper, but with effective implementation at the ground level.
