This condition of the farmer testifies to the failures of the agricultural system. His son is ill and unable to work, not being made up of his wife, daughter-in-law sometimes helps.
Loss of soybean cultivation for 10 years
Amar Singh and his family are living in a broken hut. Farming is barely living. Elderly farmer Amar Singh says that for the last 10 years, soybean cultivation has been continuously deteriorating due to natural disasters and poor seeds, but till now he has not received a single rupee in the form of government compensation or crop insurance.
