There has been an encounter between Maoists and security personnel on Saturday morning in the forest of Jhulnapath bordering Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh under Balaghat district Lanji police station. In this, some Maoists are being reported killed. Superintendent of Police Aditya Mishra has confirmed the incident of encounter. He has denied the death of the Maoists in the encounter, but has clarified that there has been an encounter in the forest and Hakfors and Cobra Battalion personnel are deployed on the spot.
